History of the Don Vincente a.k.a Gonzales Clinic of Tampa: Ybor City Founder, Vincente Martinez-Ybor constructed this building in 1895 as the Ybor Land and Improvement company, A planning and development office for the community he wanted to create. At the turn of the century it became a health care clinic called "El Bien Publico - The good of the people". It eventually transformed again in the Gonzalez Clinic which served thousands until 1980 when it was abandoned for 18 years. in 1998 the building was purchased by Jack Shiver and 2 years later after a few million invested it became the Don Vicente de Ybor Clinic. |

Claims of Activity: Claims have been of seeing a female apparition in the basement level, strange occurances in rooms, and being touched. We ofcourse set out to either validate and/or debunk these claims. |

Our Findings: We discovered that being the fact this location sits by a large parking lot, any sound, voices and so forth carries across the lot and into the basement through the rear exit door. We at times thought we heard voices but being the fact it was a Ybor city Friday night, it was ruled out as outside noise. We did however get both male & female latin EVPs in the basement which were not from outside sources and which responded to our questions. A shadow was seen in the female bath room wall and one of our members felt pinned down on his bed in his room by an unknown force. I slept in that same room later that night with no such experience. On another note Virginia Walters, Lead Investigator of Florida Paranormal Research did have strange incidents happen in her room that same night. Requirement to Investigate: You must be an incorporated non profit paranormal group with good standings and must have all legal contracts and waivers. There is also a minimum requirement of rooms you must rent in order to use the facility for an investigation. All rooms must be paid in advance for an investigation and you are responsible for any damages which may occur during your investigation.
